Airmen arriving at RAF Wickenby by train would have disembarked at Snelland Station, it was then a couple of miles walk/ride to the airfield. Their first drink would probably have been at The White Hart, the nearest Pub to the airfield and frequented by many of the Aircrews and other RAF Wickenby personnel. |
